Data Sources

nlmod can be used to download many kinds of data in the Netherlands from online sources:

• Layer data from REGIS

• Voxel data from GeoTOP

• Surface elevation from AHN

• Bottom elevation of sea and large surface water from Jarkus/vaklodingen or RWS

• Landuse data from BGT, BRT or BRP

• Meteorological data from KNMI or Meteobase

• Waterboard data from each of the 21 waterboards

• Soil physical units map from BOFEK

• Administrative boundaries from CBS or kadaster

• Groundwater measurements from BRO

• Well locations and extraction rates from NHI-GWO
