Data Sources
============
`nlmod` can be used to download many kinds of data in the Netherlands from online sources:

- Layer data from REGIS
- Voxel data from GeoTOP
- Surface elevation from AHN
- Bottom elevation of sea and large surface water from Jarkus/vaklodingen or RWS
- Landuse data from BGT, BRT or BRP
- Meteorological data from KNMI or Meteobase
- Waterboard data from each of the 21 waterboards
- Soil physical units map from BOFEK
- Administrative boundaries from CBS or kadaster
- Groundwater measurements from BRO
- Well locations and extraction rates from NHI-GWO

These methods are accessible through the modules within ``nlmod.read``. Some of these sources are demonstrated in the following sections:
